Outdoor HDTV Antennas
Outdoor antennas are best used when signals are weak to no signals, typically outer city locations (45 ~ 150 miles range). Some outdoor / roof top antennas are omni directional (all directions), which is very easy to use and install but not typically not the most powerful. Some locations may require an outdoor directional (one direction) antenna, which are typically more powerful and can be pointed to the direction of the TV station for full signal wave (still able to pickup strong signals at other direction that is not pointed at). Directional outdoor antennas are the only type of antenna used for "ghost" conditions, or near reflective structures.
